Marilee: I am the proud owner of
Klubhouse for Kids. One of my favorite parts of my job is seeing all the new parents and grandparents. It's such an exciting time for everyone and always floods me with all the wonderful memories of when my boys were born. It's a true honor to be able to share those feelings and stories with others.
When I'm not working and not chasing around my youngest, I usually hang my "Mom's Taxi" sign on my car. My older son plays hockey, baseball, track & field, and golf. It keeps us pretty busy! I play women's hockey in the winter, slo-pitch ball in the spring, and my husband races in the Off Road Racing Club.
Marilee and her husband Cory are the proud parents of Colby (16) and Carter (8).
Maureen: I'm the manager of Klubhouse for Kids. I enjoy working at Klubhouse for so many reasons: great co-workers, and meeting and spending time with adults AND kids! But what I enjoy the most is hearing the family stories and seeing the joy of a new parent, or a new grandma, aunt, uncle, etc. Helping them to find that 'perfect' something for their special someone!
I see my primary responsibility as making sure people feel relaxed, welcomed, and comfortable when they come to our store.
Even when I'm not working here, you might just find me hanging out visiting anyways! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also work to support adults with special needs in the community.
Maureen and her husband Sukwinder are the proud parents of Julia (12).
Serena: I love working at Klubhouse mostly because of all the familiar faces you see everyday and seeing how everyone's kids have grown. The environment at work is so friendly and my co-workers are all like family to me. As a stay-at-home mom, I enjoy the 'me' time I get while at work.
I enjoy helping my customers feel well taken care of, and ensuring they leave very satisfied. I'm also the head housekeeper, so I make sure our store is clean clean clean!
When I'm not working you'll see me here on a regular basis having coffee with the girls in the back and checking out all the new arrivals. During the school year my girls keep me busy with their activities (soccer, hockey, friends). During the summer we like to spend as much time at the lake as possible.
Serena and her husband Aaron are the proud parents of Jessie (15) and Jamie (12).
Joy: I enjoy working at Klubhouse very much . Besides having great people to work with and awesome things to sell, I love meeting all the moms, grandmas, little ones, and all who enter the shop. On the whole its just a happy place to work. And now that my kids have all left home, it is really neat to still be able to interact with lots of wee ones. When I am not at work I love to spend time with family and friends, and enjoy cooking, walking, gardening, and reading. Look forward to serving you at Klubhouse!
