I bought this for a 4 yr old girl who loves dinosaurs.
The instructions said it would be a long process and I questioned my daughter's focus and ability to stay with the project. This is very easily a multi-day project. The great news is that she didn't lose interest and even looked forward to continuing the project multiple days in a row.
It has the potential to get very messy, but we put the clay block into a large cookie pan and it made all the difference for clean up.
Might want to get another one!
